Edit Registry

Hi All

I am wanting to include a registry entry so that the app runs when the
computer starts. I have followed the steps but when I run the install
set the registry entry is not inserted. What am I missing?

These are my settimgs:

Operation: Create/Update Key And Value

Root: HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Registry Key: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Value Name: MyProgram

Data Type: String

Data Value: %_SB_INSTALLDIR%\MyProgram.Exe

What am I doing wrong?

it's not a good idea to write a "per-user" registry setting from an elevated
running program.

I think you are looking under the wrong "current user" registry branch.

Thanks for that. It seems as though I may have had some wrong settings
as it is working now. Will test on other machines.
