The installation application failed to detect SetupBuilder Developer Edition 7.5

Choose 'Help>Redistributable Manager' then select any available runtime package and then click the 'Download Runtime' button. The download runs and then the error posts. 'The installation application failed to detect SetupBuilder Developer Edition'. Yes; I do have the Developer Edition. It shows on the top of the frame.
Any suggestions appreciated.

It is same as http://www.lindersoft.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-39074.html. But I can't find solution, even reboot not solved this problem.

hmmm, does it mention version "7.5" in the error message? What kind of redistributable did you download? Just for fun, try the VC++ 2017 redistributable. Could you please post a screenshot with the error message? Do you have Developer Edition Version 10?

All the new redistributables support SetupBuilder 10. Only the very old and outdated SQL 2005/2008 and DirectX do not support SB10. If you need the old include scripts, we can send the scripts via email to you if you are interested.

Just tested it and it's working fine I (see attached screenshots). All the new redistributable packages support SetupBuilder 10.

I use setup builder 7.5 Developer editor. Please find the attached Image. My project already use .NET 4.5 version. Now I upgrade to .NET 4.5.2.

So I remove .NET 4.5 Runtime in downloaded runtime and try to download new version.

I noticed .net setup file got downloaded in D:\Setup builder\Runtimes, but without folder.

Yes, if you are on SetupBuilder 7.5 then this is the expected behaviour. SetupBuilder Version 7.5 reached "End-of-Life" five years ago on April 23, 2012.

The new or updated redistributables need runtime functionality that is not available in older SetupBuilder versions. For example, support for Windows 8, 8.1, Server 201x, Windows 10, etc.
