MSSQL Setup Requirement

Hi there, I'm quite new to setupbuilder so sorry for asking something that's
probably right under by glasses.

Where can i find the "Setup Requirements" options? i would like to have
MSSQL express required in the install file?

It depends on the version. You can try to detect MSSQL Express in the
registry or you search for instance names (using the "Get Registry" script
function(s) or even check for a running MSSQL service (using the "Check
Service" function).

can the clarion version "install" mssql if its not loaded on the pc?

Oops, sorry. I thought you are using the Developer Edition flagship. The
freeware "SetupBuilder Clarion Edition" can create and compile standard
installations, but if you need more flexibility and fine tuning
capabilities, then you need access to the script editor with more than 500
functions. There is a highly discounted upgrade path to Developer Edition
available for Clarion 10 EE developers.
