Code signing headache!

HELP!!!!

Any and all ideas welcome - I'm kind of stuck with nowhere to go!

I can't finish any of my 3rd party installs until I can fix this.

Adding Digital Certificate II (Preprocessor)...
SIGNTOOL: C:\...\CPCS_PS.EXE

SHA1: -1
SHA2: -2
Compiler error GEN1053: Code signing process failed. Error Code: -2

Installed the 8.1 SDK and now using SVER: 6.3.9600.17298 it all works
as before. I don't understand why and right now, don't care!!!!<g>

it's very well possible that one of your last Windows updates "unregistered"
the Capicom component and the SDK installation "fixed" this. Or the
timestamp servers were temporally down or not accessible.

Now hang on a minute, blaming MS is what -I- do - I called dibs!<g>

Regardless of the cause, it works now which is what I need - I think!
