All of our .msi installation files created with InstallShield Developer 8 stopped working on XP SP2 RC. This is a support nightmare for us (more than 15,000 customers worldwide).
Is SetupBuilder 5 and the SetupScript feature compatible with XP SP2? I understand that the SB5 beta is not available yet. But could you send us a demo installer to test it on XP SP2 RC?
BTW, we are interested in SetupBuilder 5 Developer Edition (Site License)!!!!

Same here. Our Windows Installer files created with InstallShield Express 5 stopped working on XP SP2 RC1 (error 1607). Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.
Our SetupBuilder 4 installations work fine.

SetupBuilder is a solution for custom Windows installations with no dependency on the Microsoft's Windows Installer Service (MSI).
We have developed our own native Win32 setup compiler to generate ultra-fast and low-overhead installations. SetupBuilder 5 and the SetupScript language work fine with XP SP2.
