The meter bar does not work properly.
It going to 100% and then about 100 other files are being copied, and the
meterbar just stays at 100%.

Robert,
Yes, you are right (it stays at 99% <g>). This is caused by the "Delayed
File Install" support in SB5 Dev. To make sure a failing patch does not
break an existing Clarion 6.1 installation, the installer patches into a
temporary folder and then, if everything applied fine, copies the files over
to the final location. There is no known way (at the moment) to determine
how many files have to be copied after the patch process completed, so the
progress bar stays at 99%. But I think we'll have a solution soon.
Thanks,
Friedrich

Hello,
I really think you need to find a solution. I honestly thought the system
was copying all the files over and over and over again and that it was in
some loop. I was actually going to abort it because it was taking so long.
You need to go out and find the number of files it is going to copy and
maybe reset the meter bar again. No issue with having the meter bar start
at zero/the beginning a second time, but leaving it at 99 is not good.
Hope you find some way to make it better.

Robert,
I hope we'll have a solution before the next C62 patch release. Of course,
we also noticed this here, but the copy process took only 5-15 seconds on
our test machines (Gateway Pentium I running Win95, Gateway Pentium II
running NT4, Gateway and Dell Pentium III running Me/2000, and Dell machines
running Win XP Pro and Home) so I did not pay attention to it.
Thanks again,
Friedrich

I pay close attention to everything. <g>
If there's an issue, I'll fine it.
