SB5 Developer Edition (RC4) build #1151 is released.

This SetupBuilder 5 is powered by Clarion 6.2 Enterprise Edition now.
Thanks to Robert Zaunere and the team of SoftVelocity for producing such a
great development system!

Please click "Check for Updates..." from within your SB5 IDE to update to
#1151.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Backup your existing SB5 scripts!

2. Some of the new SB5 features require a clean SB5.LIC file (located in
the root of your SB5 folder). Please close the SB5 IDE, remove the
SB5.LIC and restart your SB5 IDE.

3. To use the new "Clarion Environment Detection" feature in your existing
scripts, please update your text resources!

and SB5 closes.

Win98SE. Previous C. Release worked good and without any probs...

Updated using "Check for Updates" for SB5 Dev #1130 to #1151 -
(Cable modem download, W2K PRO)

Successful!

Very Nice! The PDF has an excellent start, good layout!

Now, with such a versatile, complicated, feature rich, and product
extraordinaire! - I'd suggest, your future to do list should contain some
smaller PDF's that concentrate on a single involved task such as "Configure
iDeploy WebInstall" in more "user friendly styles"

Whole manual CHM's and PDF's tend to be, while very useful, very "techy".

such an excellent line of Setup Tools.

The data versions of the Clarion 3rd Party, Newsgroup & Email, Search
Engine, and Shareware (Encourager Software) Profile Exchanges have been
updated with the new V5 SetupBulder Developer and Professional Editions
information and pricing.

I'll soon be checking and updating all the appropriate online versions of
the Profile Exchanges to make sure V5 SetupBulder Developer and Professional
Editions information and pricing is accurate as well.

I wish you, family and company all the best for the V5 SetupBuilder release!

Seriously, this looks to be a major enhancement. I already question
vendor's quality levels if they are using any other install tools.
Especially if they are Wise or InstallShield based. I've not rendered any
verdict on MSI yet <g>.

I well remember some of the earliest variations of SetupBuilder that you so
graciously allowed me to examine (LSP SFX-Builder - Nov. 1997, first test
for me) - of course, at the time, I was using some variation of Wise,

And I thought to myself, Friedrich seems to be a nice sort of fellow, and he
did develop this "interesting" setup tool "toy", but can I honestly relate
to him (without hurting his feelings <g>), that his "toy" is probably not
going to make any serious impact in the software world! <g>

Well, from small beginnings and a tremendous amount of hard work, ingenuity,
hope, and perseverance comes a "World Class State of the Art" invention that
gives this Clarion community a chance to say again, how priviliged and proud
we are to know it's inventor!
