5060 means the WebUpdate client was unable to receive the "file size" from
the HTTP data stream. If you are connecting the Internet through a proxy, I
think the proxy port is incorrect. For example, if I use port 4400 instead
of 4480 I also get a 5060 error.

Hi Kevin,
>No proxy server bing used.
Make sure that you are not using "http:" as part of your URL. I hit
that when I was starting but don't remember what error it was...

Hi Kevin,
>I checked - this is what I have
Can you access this?
http://RagazziServer.DynDns.org/Clients/Snookies/Update.ini
When I try it in IE I get a long period of saying "Opening page
http://RagazziServer.DynDns.org/Clients/Snookies/Update.ini..." and
nothing happens... Looks like it's not accessible... IE does _not_
pop up the authentication window.

Kevin,
I just tried the link below and immediately received a login so it must be
working.

Kevin,
For what its worth I'm still fighting some issues myself. I have everything
working except now I can't get the wupdate.exe to RUN my application when
the update is completed.
I asked you this before, but have you checked in the registery to see if the
information the wupdate.exe retrieves is
accurate?HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Lindersoft\We bUpdate\AppPaths
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Lindersoft\WebUpdate\A pps
This information, I believe, is posted there from your primary install for
the wupdate.exe to locate and use.

Hi Kevin,
>I checked - this is what I have
After about 2 minutes IE came back with
"The page can not be displayed"
....
"Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer"
Maybe I typed the url wrong, but I can't see a typo in it.

Same here. I cannot access the file (I tried three different high-speed
Internet connections). Dell and Gateway machines, XP Pro SP2 (all security
patches applied).
After 4 minutes IE reported (see screenshot):

Still no connection from here. Do you have a html page on this server
to try?
When I try to access my INI file it takes no time at all for IE to pop
up a download dialog (I'm not using a login) On your INI my IE just
times out.

Hi Kevin,
>> http://RagazziServer.DynDns.org/Clients/Snookies/Update.ini
When I try just http://ragazziserver.dyndns.org it's the same thing.
IE waits for a minute or two then it says "Page can not be displayed"
and quotes "Cannot find server or DNS Error".
