Hi Friedrich,

sounds really interesting!

We do software that runs on networks that are not connected to the
Internet. Nonetheless we offer both CDs and downloads (especially for
updates). They are transferred manually to the isolated server by the
sysadmin.

Is this scheme also covered by setupPROTECT?

Hi Wolfgang,

Absolutely no problem. setupPROTECT does not require an Internet
connection!

If the subscription is valid and current, they can install all software
versions (full install and/or update) which they are entitled to use. If
the subscription expired and there is a new version of the software
available, they do not have access to it any longer. A system clock
manipulation or a complete Windows re-installation does not help ;-) They
have to buy a new subscription in order to install all new versions.
