Final release - Installer background

Hi Friedrich,

I have a problem with one of my install scripts. I haven't worked on
it for about 2 months and when I opened it in the latest build I had
(think it was 1203 or something like that) I had lost the subheading
and footer texts. This has happened before.

I uninstalled SB5 and installed the final release. When I built the
install the subheading and footer were still missing. So I started
messing with it a bit. I can see the subheading if I set it to 72pt
size in red color as a line of about 2 pixels high and 10 pixels wide
just below the header! That is at _72_ points! At 10 pt it shows up
as 1x4 pixel line.

I need to get this install out today so I'm not going to waste more
time on it right now, but what can I do to get the text back?

This has happened before on some installs when going from one SB5
version to another and I've just had to rebuild those installs. I
have a lot of stuff in this one and I'd hate to have to rebuild it
from scratch:( This never happens on the "Header Text" only the
"Subheader Text" and the "Footer Text" Nothing I have tried has been
able to bring it back. I've tried all kinds of fonts, TrueType and
bitmap, various colors, various sizes, various styles, shadowed, not
shadowed, Offset, not Offset, left, centered and right justified...
Nothing helps.

Arnór,

Please try the following trick. Open the "General Information" dialog and
select the "Installer Style" Tab. Select "No Installer Background" radio
button and click the OK button. Then open the screen again and re-select
"Installer Background". This "should" convert the old 11xx script
information to the new format.

It looks like this here now (see screen-shot).

My previous post was incorrect. There is no need to select "No Installer"
and then re-select "Installer Background".

To convert the old 11xx script settings, please click the properties button
for Header Text, Subheader Text, Footer Text, and Static Bitmap. Always
click the OK button.

YES!:):):) I had been into the properties for all the texts but NOT
the bitmap. Apparently you must get into EVERY one of those
properties for it to work.
