Can't open SB5

Hi

I've got SB5 Pro. on Windows XP. When I try to open the app. I get the 'Web
Update Wizard' window. Since I do not yout have a maintenace contract I need
to skip this step but if I select Cancel then SB opens minimised and I am
unable to maximise it. If I select Next on the Wizard then I get a 'Network
error 5060' and then the same situation. So I am unable to use the utility
at all.

Is this expected behavior, or am I doing something wrong?

I can't tell you which build it is since I can't open it. And now I can't
download the setup to re-install either since I don't have a contract.
However I have paid for my version which was the free upgrade from SB4.

So where to go now? Am I forced to take out a contract? It is my intention
to upgrade to Developer in the near future, but I need to have a working
version right now.

Panic over! I managed to get it open and then disabled the 'check for web
updates' option.

Glad it's working now. BTW, do you still have a SB5 beta build installed
(prior build 1244)?

Mike,

Build 1193 is an old pre-release. Please install the Gold version (if you
don't have a maintenance and support plan, the Gold version is available
here):

We have removed all SetupBuilder 5 pre-releases from our servers. Web
Updates for pre-releases are not supported any longer.

can only find a reference to the Developer beta program with passwords.
