My installation installs a service. In the future I might need to install a
new version of the service.
What is SetupBuilders course of action when the service is already installed
and running?

Mike,
See the Edit Service item in the help. Allows you to stop/remove etc.

Please also see "Check Service..." to make sure the service is really
stopped. You can use it in a Loop structure in combination with a Sleep
function to give the service some time to stop (if required).
