Hi all
Can anyone help me with a list of what should go in what folder when
designing an installation for a template for clarion 7 ?
I have
- the template files themselves (.tpl, .tpw)
- Class Files ('clw, .inc)
- Images for the template screens
- icons used by the classes

Thanks for any advice !
Cheers!

Templates and images for them: C:\Program Files\SoftVelocity\Clarion
7\accessory\template\win
Images: C:\Program Files\SoftVelocity\Clarion 7\accessory\images
Class sources: C:\Program Files\SoftVelocity\Clarion 7\accessory\libsrc\win

If you ever make Clarion# stuff, then the last folder name changes to
dotnet.

Keep in mind, those are the default folders.

That is possible, but unlikely. I say that because when the first C7 came
out to a closed group of beta testers, one of the features discussed
(sometimes in high spirits <g>) was support for 3rd party installations.

The folders you see now were the result of those lengthy discussions with SV
and near as I can tell, approval of the beta testers (of which there are a
fair number of 3rd party vendors).

I think the only thing you don't see in those default folders by SV are the
actual vendor names in those paths. To be honest, I can't recall if that
was part of the new standard <g>.

I _think_ it was dropped. I don't think it was really needed since most
products/vendors would only have a few files in each folder or maybe none.

I could see it going either way with no issues, especially with the
RED/project features in C7.
