Desktop link to PDF help file

Hi,
I want to send folks a PDF file and I want to create a link on the desktop so that they can find the program and open it. So far, I have not been able to create a desktop link even with administrator settings. Are there any tricks to getting a desktop link to a PDF file?

Ron,

I have created a small demo project for you:

www.lindersoft.com/projects/pdf_shortcut.zip

Unzip into a temporary folder and compile and run PDFShortcut.sb6

Does this help?

THats interesting,
Nothing special - that is what I did and did not get a link ( under vista - adminstrator privileges). I even added an icon and still no link. I'll have to test it again.
