? how to get the DNS Name and Mac address at runtime

hello All,
I was just wondering if there were any built in way to pull the DNSNAME and Mac address at runtime, and if it is not in Sb6 will that exist in Sb7??
in the mean time, is the only way to get the DNS name @ runtime to make API calls to iphlpapi.dll?

This is not a built-in function in SB6. I have submitted it to our SB7 suggestion database.
