Re: Get System Info(Drive Type) function Peter, The "Drive Type" option is a wrapper around the GetDriveType Windows API. If you pass an UNC notation to GetDriveType, a trailing backslash is required. It should then return $DRIVE_REMOTE$ in your case. For example: \\ServerName\Drive\ If you still get $DRIVE_NO_ROOT_DIR$, please see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244089 Does this help? Friedrich
Re: Get System Info(Drive Type) function
Get System Info(Drive Type) function When using the Get System Info(Drive Type) function, If I use either C: or C:\ for the Drive Letter it returns $DRIVE_FIXED$ as it should. However, if I use a valid mapped drive for the Drive Letter, e.g. either Z: or Z:\, the function returns $DRIVE_NO_ROOT_DIR$. It returns the same thing if I use UNC notation \\ServerName\Drive. Is it me or is the function not working properly? This is SetupBuilder 8.0.4063.
