10938, Custom Install Type (Clarion9.1 EE - Build 10938 Release!)
In this install if you select Custom Install Type it no longer has
everything selected except the Legacy Report Writer.
In 10938 nothing is pre-selected.

It's possible that this is caused by a SB issue (development build #4399
should fix this):

4 dots? I figured that should be 2 dots max.<g>

Jeff,

I was thinking 3!<g>
By the way, the old ADO template gotcha is still in 10971 so if you
register all templates in an empty registry select everything except
the ADO template, register those and go back for the ADO. If you
select all of them at once ADO ends up at the top of the list and it
fails due to dependencies that the template cannot find.
SV knows about this.
The quickest fix, from my point of view, is to rename abado.tpl to
SVabado.tpl and selecting all the templates will work since it's no
longer at the of the list - alphabetically. Hey, it DOES work!<g>

Not an activity for me, thanks.
I can wait until that's fixed.

Re: 10938, Custom Install Type (Clarion9.1 EE - Build 10938 Release!)
Thats been that way since the very beginning when the ADO template was
introduced circa C6 days.
We might change its name but its not much of a problem - and only happens when
starting without
any existing .trf file.

Lee,
Its a "Custom" install so rather than guessing what components you want to
install it lets you choose them.
If all the options were preset to ON then its the exact same as a "Standard" install.

Re: 10938, Custom Install Type (Clarion9.1 EE - Build 10938 Release!)
Bob,
You are totaly correct
BUT
We are kids and NEED to be taken by the hand and when the "hand" is no
longer there (as this first time change since c5 installers if I
remember well, where all but TPS utils were checked) we start weeping
sitting on the road side wondering what to do and which pond we should
jump into to get drowned ! <g>
I'd check by default the :
HELP
MANUALS
and leave the rest to be decided
after all we ALL ONLY read the docs you supply so ....

I wasn't going to bring that up!<g>

As often as I bollix my registry I've gotten in the habit over the
years of doing a two step for the core templates. Renaming the file
seems to work so it would probably be the quickest solution.
