SetupBuilder 6.7 -- May 2008 Update -- Build 2219 (May 2, 2008)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
FEATURE : Add "Italian (Standard).lng" language file (thanks to Guennadi
Iounok).
FEATURE : Add support for "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Runtime Libraries
Redistributable (9.0.21022.8)". (Developer Edition only).
IMPROVEMENT: Installer: Optimized detection of "temporary" locked files.
This will avoid the "-200 decompression error" when replacing
"temporary" locked files. It is a permanent change in the
installer runtime.
FIX : IDE: The compiler ignored the "Group" item in the "Create
Service..." function.
FIX : [SB#805011] IDE: Encryption in the "#zip file..." pre-processor
was not working as expected.
FIX : [SB#805012] Installer: Encryption in the "Zip File(s)..."
function was not working as expected.
FIX : [SB#805013] Installer: Possible "Register OCX" and "Unregister
OCX" problems.
CHANGE : Installer: Revert code changes from Build 2198 ["Check In-use
file..." script function can detect in-use true type fonts
now] back to Build 2163. The "Check In-use file..." script
function cannot detect temporary in-use fonts.
CHANGE : IDE: The "About SetupBuilder..." dialog displays the
maintenance subscription expiration ID in form of mm/dd/yyyy
now.
CHANGE : IDE: If "#code-sign application..." fails, an error code is
reported.
CHANGE : IDE: Minor cosmetic modifications.
CHANGE : Updated online help.
CHANGE : Updated PDF manual.

Re: SetupBuilder 6.7 "May 2008 Update" Release Announcement
A minor bug slipped through in the new support for "Microsoft Visual C++
2008 Runtime Libraries Redistributable (9.0.21022.8)" via the Core
PreRequisites Visualizer. The event to include/exclude the new
redistributable is not fired. To work around this, use the "#include
script" directive and add the VC2008 include script (see attached
screenshot).
This will be fixed in the next web update.

<G> Of course, you are absolutely right. It should read:
CHANGE : Updated Spanish (Traditional Sort) language file (thanks to
Alberto Michelis).
Thanks,

Hi
i am very disappointed in this change. You are forcing me to read a date
differently than what is set up in my OS regional settings.
I think this is silly and I wishyou would revert back to D17 as a display
format.
Kind Regards
Ben

Hi Ben,
>I think this is silly and I wishyou would revert back to D17 as a display

I have started to use D18 - i.e. long format - for dates where I can.
Numeric only is just confusing as heck when dealing with international
dates.

Re: SetupBuilder 6.7 "May 2008 Update" Release Announcement
Hi
I usually allow the end user to determine if they want the short or the long
format as part of their setup parameters.
It's only Canada, Phillipines and USA that still use D1 to D4 Ranged Dates
Kind Regards
Ben

Hi
Do you seriously think that 90 % of all Clarion users are USA and Canada ?
Kind Regards

Personally, I prefer YYYYMMDD... as it's more 'sort' capable.
